  • she might be the greatest female musician of all time

  • The beauty in song writing and poetry is that there is no ONE meaning but what you interpret out of the words and melody. what you hear in your heart even when it doesn't necessarily make sense. I suggest you close your eyes and listen to it over and over gain and see what it speaks to you... will be far more interesting than any of us trying to analyse it

  • Norah I heart <3 YOU! :) Let me know if you ever need a shaman to go on the road with ya Shaman Ziggy

  • fatal, besides: learn the goddamn lyrics!

  • I can see why Norah uses her mother's last name. She gets so much criticism as is, but if she used her father, Ravi Shankar's last name she'd always be unfairly compared just like all famous people's children. She may not be a famous sitar player who worked with The Beatles like her father, and she may not be the average pop star, but she's amazing in her own way-

A great musician and lovely singer.

  • goddamn that iheartradio thing coming in at the end

  • whos on bass and who's the other chick on guitar...and thats norah jones playin lead, right?

  • who's the other chick on guitar...and thats norah jones playin lead, right?

  • As a response wilco could make a cover of "don't know why", it would be fucking awesome.

  • This song is about anything you want...

it's right there in the song

"you can combine anything you want"

  • John Stirratt totally plays that same kind of bass.
