RIP CiyBus Flxibles, they retired their last ones a while ago now. Muncie, is another city with out Flxibles now.
-
Cummins engines sound soft, smooth, and quiet. Detroit Diesels sound hardcore, tough, and loud
-
Cummins are better with Voith trannies, while Detroit Diesels are better with Allison.
-
nashville mta had these daaamn why n da hell they have to sell em
-
Right on the money, I loved the way these sounded, Transpo in South Bend had 43 Metros
-
Would this be a 40-foot by 96-inch-wide unit, then?
-
No, 701 through 704 were new deliveries to GLPTC (Lafayette) in 1990. All the former Muncie buses were renumbered 508 and up.
-
This was a former Muncie, IN unit.

i wish the truck ive driven 6 years back had an L-10...but 2 things would have lacked it anyway....the auto would still shif tlike a truck and, lack of power. I had a M11 and then the N14. the N14, wow....430hp and plenty of torque to the wheels. ahhh the memories

all the way up to like 40 mph. I also like when the transmission "hunts" thru the gears, going from 3rd to 2nd then back to 3rd. Or what i call the ultimate downshift, from 2nd gear down to first then to 2nd gear with the engine pulling loads of power. Long live the ole skool L-10!
o hell yuh L 10 AND VOITH FASHO DAMN I MISS THOSE POST MORE PLEASE
