The Flanker's Irbis-E radar is indeed far more powerful than the Raptor's APG-77. However, if you look at the Detection Range vs. RCS graph (which is based off Russian data) of the radar you will see that it can detect a target of .001m^2 (Raptor size) at a range around 30 nautical miles.

Stealth applies to all emissions (in the case of F-22, B-2, F-117, and F-35), IR included. Again, IR is not an automatic stealth killer. IR has low detection range and poor performance in bad weather. Y EL F-22 solo tiene toberas vectoriales 2D y F-22 no puede hacer ni la minima super maniobra del sukhoi ya que se parteria en dos (2) JA! es muy claro que combinando una super maniobrabilidad mas una muy eficaz electronica y su radar IRBIS-E pues es un avion de mucho temer SU-35BM esta hecho para competir directamente y en el mejor de los casos ganarlo a F-22 Y F-35 los analogos auropeos yo diria que son chatarras delante de los SIKHOIS...

Mira primero el SU-35BM puede detectar a F-22 de 80km a 120km y puede atacarlo a esa misma distancia con un misil R-77 y F-22 no podria librarse facilmente de este misil por que todos sabemos que los MISILES (R) son muy dificiles de atascar y evadir pero sus analogos occidentales son muy faciles de evadir y mas cuando se cuenta con la electronica y la super maniobrabilidad con la que cuentan los sukhois... F-22 vs SU-35BM en dogfither que quedo con el SU-35BM ya que cuenta con VETORIZADO 3D

Think about it this way: you have someone coming after you at night looking for you with a powerful flashlight. You can spot him first before he sees you. In that way, you can kill the man with the flashlight first.

Yes me friend, but 30 Nautical miles is still like more than 50 Km wich is still really big range, you cant shoot missiles at so much distant, the enemy will just turn 180 and run away and missiles launched will eventually be out of fuel and explodes in the air..
