@DHitzRM Your son with with God and one day you will see him again.
My husband went to be with the Lord 2 yrs and 2 months ago. I sure miss him but he too had faith and he was terribly sick. I look forward to seeing him again in heaven. Sometimes I feel his presence. God bless you.

Try again.... I have always found that God speaks to me in various ways. I read the comments below and feel everyones pain. I listen to the lyrics and bond with them. I am getting theough a tough period in life at the moment but you know what? I have no right to complain. i think of Jeremiah.... For i know the plans i have for you declares the Lord... I can only imagine and Home sick were the two songs that got me through my grandfathers death. When I read the stories behind the songs it made me cry harder

On October 2nd, my beloved husband will be celebrating his first year in Heaven. He lost his life last year from Pancreatic Cancer. He never lost his faith in God - he had no fear of what he was facing because he knew God was with him during his whole journey. This song says it all for me. I can hardly wait to be Home with him. We celebrated our 32nd anniversary last September 30th. We had our vows renewed at home. He was so weak, but he held off dying until two days later.

Thanks for posting this. The song says it all. We're coming up on the one year mark since our 17 year old son passed away. I know he's with Jesus and so many people "remind" us that we'll see him again. I know we will, but it will be a very long time. My wife and I just want to live our lives to God's glory and do our best to make our son proud one day when we are reunited.
