I remember this from nearly 50 years ago. But I think their is a scene missing at the end where the computer "punishes" Andromeda. It might have been wishful thinking on my part - but I remember Julie Christie's dress slipping off the shoulder as she stood holding the handles of the computer and was delivered an electric shock.
