@SemperFiOorah1 Don't be a dick. He composed it on a program like finale and had it play it through.

This shit sounds like a fucking five year old is playing it on his toy piano. This version sucks. If it were played by a REAL band I would have liked it.

the USCG came under the purview of DHS on 25 Feb, 2003... prior to that it was classified as US Department of Transportation. as i wrote, i felt it wrong as they were not considered as one of the armed forces but hey, azstumbler, feel free to continue schooling me on what i know.

@sipescook The Coast Guard is the natio oldest, continous, sea going tradition. It was formed in 1790 as the Revenue Cutter Service and then in 1915 was renamed the United States Coast Guard when it was combined with the Light House Service and the Life Saving service . That 1915 law stated it was one of the Armed Forces of the United States. It has fought in every war this country has fought and is the only maritime branch of service tasked with defending the United States proper.
Great tribute. I know it may not mean anything to you but, there is an order in which each branch is to be shown. Each branch varies in the regulations, but the DOD Directive 1008.d dated 1977 states the order as follows:
U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S Coast Guard. This is the Official Order and overides all Branch regulations. Since there have been so many of these videos and tributes posted, thought that the folks doing them would like to have this info.

it's kinda not cool to give someone who's made this effort a hard time, just sayin'.. besides that, prior to 10-ish years ago Coast Guard wasn't even part of the "military", but was Department of Transportation... i think it's about time they're acknowledged as part of our military but again, you're pretty much uncool cause i've seen you post this elsewhere. you're welcome to make your own medley in it's proper order if that matters so much to you.
