Back in 1969, Pete Ham of Badfinger was moved when he found out that a good friend of his, Susan Wing, had become a high-priced call girl for a champagne club in the West End. Saddened and inspired by this friend, Pete wrote "Midnight Caller" based on the life of a lonely call girl. Forty years later, my recording is a raw, guitar-only rendition of it, and yes the oscillating sound of the guitar and vocal are intentional.
