A quick translation for those of you who wanted to know what the story was about. The language is bambara, and some of the concepts are quite difficult to translate. Hope you enjoy the song a little bit more now.

The name keeps coming up, but it turns out it was the name of the kings favorite daughter. The kings choice was only made clear at that point. He chose to remain in power.
