  • Hey Joe I also block overseas bidders. I only deal with Canada/USA it's so much easier. If someone with 0 feedback bids on my item I just cancel their bid and block them. I know it sounds cruel but 90 percent of 0 feedbackers are up to no good and I can't be bothered with opening case after case wasting my time. Ebay needs to place restrictions on new accounts until they have at least 5 feedback kind of like a prove yourself kind of thing. Anyhow great video. Peace from Canada

  • @NesBoy1985 I agree with you 100% but i cannot cancel bids as i list in the fixed price format and once they click "buy it now" the damage has already been done

Thank you for the time and effort you put into these videos. This month is 12 years for me on eBay, and your observations regarding the treatment of eBay for both sellers and buyers is spot on. I appreciate your investment in both time and labor to educate both here on Youtube.

  • @moemoe1234 hi, thank you for the kind words. I will keep cranking out these vids as long as ebay and paypal keep screwing over sellers

  • Mate, your channel is genious! Love it!

  • Man, thank you so much for making this video. Had a bad Ebay day. I was expecting to pay bills this weekend. I get slammed with overseas bidders who cant read or speak english. My items state no overseas shipping. I bend and decide that I will do it in those cases, so I adjust the invoice with increased shipping, they dont pay, cant read, cant speak UGHHH!

  • @RATED4EVER They could do that but so can a non overseas buyer. It's never happened to me but let's say I'm in NY and you're the buyer who is also in NY, what's to stop you from saying the item ain't as described and sending back a brick with tracking LOL ebay would still give you back my money and I'd be left out of money and one brick richer lol Overseas buyers would be less likely to do that scam as it would cost a lot to send an item back with tracking from their country to mine

  • @hellbunny992 Another problem is that regardless of whether or not you ship your item TRACKED or UNTRACKED, the buyer can say that the item is "Not As Described", they will then mail out something else other than what you originally sold them, mail it WITH A TRACKING #, and then claim to ebay that they mailed out the item back. I personally haven't had this problem, but wouldn't you agree that the buyer could do this?

  • Hi Joe - love your ebay videos - I am a UK PS - sell overseas and yes - i do have more problems with overseas buyers than UK buyers. But every risk has a price - i simply factor the added risk into my shipping price. Keep up the good work . You never say anything about the ebay DSR system!

  • @RATED4EVER The problem with that is that it don't matter what you write on your listing. If you send something untracked and the buyer says they didn't get it, you as the seller still need to show to ebay/paypal that you DID send the item and the only way you can do it is by giving them a tracking number! If you don't give them a tracking number they WILL refund the buyer. That is why I send EVERYTHING tracked! It doesn't cost you any extra as the buyer pays for shipping =]

  • @hellbunny992 I recently shipped a couple of items overseas WITHOUT A TRACKING # and the items successfully arrived to its destination. But I do offer both tracked and non-tracked options and I clearly mention in my auctions that if the buyer chooses to get their item shipped UNTRACKED, then I will not be held responsible if it gets lost in the mail.

  • @Lousypenguin LOL

  • @RATED4EVER I don't understand why sellers from America/Canada are so scared to ship internationaly! I'm from the UK and I sell worldwide! For every 10 items I sell 2-4 are sold to people from outisde of the UK. I've never had any problems with shipping outside of the UK because I cover my ass! I do NOT send anything unless it's recorded sign for. I say so on my listings and shipping options. They pay, I ship the item then send them the tracking number. Simple as that!

  • I agree that even one BAD seller makes us all look bad on eBay if we don't join and fight to get rid of them.
