It's the Yankee Seige from NH. They broke their own distance record, throwing 1,658ft, at the Bridgeville Delaware '07 Punkin Chunkin Championship two days ago. It was awesome to watch!

No, it's a weight-based siege machine. Catapults are siege machines that use rope tension, not weight.
