I found 2 of the little fellows sleeping in my bed (in the hut) we have in the Snowy's. I thought they were about because of the scats. But in the bed! How rude!!! Knowing they came in to rid us of spiders and other bugs made me more thankful than angry though - so much for them nesting in grassy hollows - they prefer feather quilts and egyptian cotton sheets.

...Nice one, gee they go off like a shot out of a bag. I tried to photograph one we released in the Blue Mtns but as soon as the bag was opened one tiny bit it was gone.
Where were you trapping them?

This particular trapping took place in Eumeralla, near Anglesea. It was done through RMITs Conservation and Land Management course.
We were researching the effects of 1080 Fox baiting in the area and its correlation with small marsupials.
It was very promising, over the week we trapped plenty of indigenous animals, including Southern Brown Bandicoot, Swamp Antechinus, Agile Antechinus and others like Swamp and Bush Rats.
Cheers,
Devin.
