@Cinesound01 which engines are you talking about? The 190, 192, 195 and 196 were all built and used here so they are at home in the USA. They cant be ran on Australian Rails as they were specially built to 36" gauge. 218 and 221 are the only AC-16's left that were built to 42" gauge. The remaining other 2 or 3 are meter gauge engines and they are in Greece, and India.

Besides 221A and now 218A running in Australia, engine 190 and 192 operate in North Carolina and Tennessee.

would you be able to provide me a little information on these locomotives? Like what year they were built in etc? I know alot about 221A but was told that the only others of the same design surviving was 218A. Good to see that there are still others operating elsewhere

190 and 192 are 36" gauge they are out of the same order and are identical to your engines. They have been modified cosmetically. 190 and 192 were built by baldwin in 1943 and were in the same batch as the 2 in Australia. #190's builders number is 69425 and 192's 69427. They were originally on the White Pass til in 1960 Tweetsie bought 190 and in 1961 Dollywood got 192. 195 and 196 are in alaska still but not operational. There builders numbers are in sequence following 190 and 192.
