  • i do not pity our black people becoz we bring hatefulness to table We live beyond our mean and the young black kid live like thugs, where is love for all that carry on in last 300 years

  • Travel starts in the mind 1st. Read books if you cannot afford 2 actually go places. Google emancipation in Windsor Canada/Detroit. Learn our history this summer will be the banquet of a once great tradition.

  • Keep up the good work Bro. Marc!!!!

  • At 40 with three children and a wonderful wife, I was pretty much forced to send my kids to a Christian school with a fraction of the budget as my local elementary school. However, here's the deal in K-4 & K-5, the kids start with cursive writing and much more ambitious course of reading under A Beka, not to mention the Bible. By 2nd grade, kids are reading at least two grades above and know multiplication and division. All A's don't mean a damn. GLOBAL COMPETITIVENESS is where it's at! Love

  • Marc, terrific points. You would think that after 55 years since Brown v. Board, Blacks would have implemented the academic rigor you speak of. Also, you would think that the Black mascots that you speak of would stop taking teachers' union money and demand equal rigor. All A's on the southside is not even passing on a global level.

Travel, please! There are kids in Detroit who have never been out of Detroit and if they don't play basketball forget about it. I was one of those kids.
