I tried the "proper way" had a night mare, tried this way myself no joy, the wathed the video, the tip is the roll up not just a normal jump as in the vid, the no problem, thanks

No - thats a bug, you should'nt be able to roll up slides. You are suposed to perform a series of obstacles around the edges until you reach the slide (the one that he just cheated on, and flipped up), then you land on it - jump and grab the edge. What would be the point in all of the other obstacles if this was the real way? Nice Vid - and to puzzlepiratess, it was an easy mistake - I didn't find out that that was the shortcut until I had completed the game a second time.

dude thats not a shortcut, its the PROPER WAY OUT! but it did take me a while to figure out how to get out :P

Dude, this is not the proper way out. It is a SHORTCUT. The proper way requires you to use the poles and handholds. Look around and you'll spot them ;-)
