I hear the river bank is fairly noisy this year, with the concrete crusher running 12 hours a day. This is what it was like in 2005. You can hear the snow melting and flowing into the river. Ducks and geese announce to us, ice chunks are incoming.
It was a weird natural event, not shown in this video. But, what happened was all this ice started flowing down river and the birds start going crazy, and then we notice all the snow melt waters on the east bank cause a sand/mud flow stream down to where we were.

I felt like posting this because the slightly arresting feeling of seeing the bridges in quiet peace is interesting to me.

  • Ah yes, isn't it wonderful when it warms up into the 40's and you can just smell the spring weather coming around the corner? You can just start to hear the wildlife coming back to life after the long winter.
