@DjAce001 I wasn't try to discredit anything the canadians did at all, their contribution to the war is far too underrated. It just annoys me when people discredit the huge sacrifice that America made for a war they easily could have "sat out."

it is true and American didnt want to be invovled in WW2 and if it wasnt for Japan for attacking pearl harbour, America would just stay home. Canada has alot to be proud of and this is a tribute for all the hidden glory by americans with all their war history. So what if america may have or did nnot supply the allies, this is a important part of Canada military history.Kudos goes to Canada

@Milhouse224 saved ur asses in both cases though.....

@DjAce001 that is so not true, we would have gotten involved eventually. Anyways, we were involved before the the actual war supplying the rest of the allies; the allies would have been trampled if we didn't provide them ships and weapons.

true + they didnt fight if they had the chance because they dont care about britain because theyr traitiors to the british when the Americans wanted inpdependance but at that time they were still with britain so it was like a civil war.Yes they were late for both world wars and if Japan didnt attack pearl harbor then America wouldnt care anyless to be in WW2

yeah but were talking about passchendaele which was mostly a Canadian battle and how many times have we hear Americans getting involved in wars such as WWI1 and 2 or modern day war in iraq.Well alot and canadians dont get alot of respect and credit when they get in big wars.Every time you go to military channel and they talk about histroric wars they always metion the the american the most. Passchedaele is a movie about canadains and gives credit thaat canaadians did fight in WW1

they did not use that much british equipment and I highly doubt candian equipment (who in their right mind would want to use a ross rifle?) the standard issue rifles used by the US army were the springfield .30 which was based off of the gewehr 88 (or was it 98?) patented by the mauser company of germany

I love this movie, and I'm Canadian, so it relly is something special for me, cuz my grandfather fought in world war 2
Plus the bloody Yanks were late for both world wars.

yes it is true americans were in WW1 but compared to the canadians, ANZAC, french, british, pretty much ALL other countries involved they did barely anything. last time i checked USA was in WW1 for roughly 5 months. so dont go thinking that they were the ones who finally beat the germans.
