@whatever177177 Affirmative action does exist. You question its justice but can you question its existence? I'm happy for and proud of this young lady. The fact that she is African American is all the more exciting. I would love to see more blacks get into successful careers. Affirmative action does exist and probably did help a bit, but she wouldn't have gotten in without hard work.

Princeton, like the other ivy league schools, is a joke. Einstein was pretty much emeritus there, and that would be the ONLY tolerable way to go. The students and teachers are toolish.

@jb26508 why should they be given an unfair edge because they were kept in slavery? you're saying that 2 applicants of different race from the same school, who made the same grades, applied to a school, the black student should be chosen?
I believe that if blacks are equal to every race, should require no edge over any others. I dont see why race needs to even be on the transcript? why does it matter what color you are? it has nothing to do with your academic ability and is racist toconsider .
