Great Stuff. Thanks for taking the time to send me a DVD through. Looks like you a had a right laugh. Would even say its better than The Long Way Round. Thanks again. You should do a book.

@bikingforbarnardos and how much did it cost you guys to do it roughly? Did you spend more time in motels or more time camping?

Nice video.
How much did all of this cost you? I'm thinking of doing the same.

@bravo142 Best of luck to you in your own adventure. Your talking £12,000 on the cheap side of things but that includes cost of bike etc

whats the hardest thing about travelling around the world on a bike? crossing borders? finding spare parts?
dutto75man 1 year ago
@dutto75man @dutto75man
HEY dutto! Its a tough question as i think its very specific to the person; it can be as simple as missing home or not eating the things you like. Borders were a pain at times but nothing a little money couldn't solve. Spare parts could be a major headache so best to have a good idea of what you may need and take them with you

What models were the bikes, and if they were not the same, which stood up to the abuse the best?
88greenmachine 1 year ago
@88greenmachine The bikes were V-Strom 650x model. They were both the same and were reasonably good overall. Tyre issues and a few damages that we caused ourselves. Only thing notable was one of the bikes clutch packed in at one point and needed a new one
