The baseball season has reached the All-Star break and the starting pitchers and lineups for Tuesday's All-Star Game will be announced later today in Anaheim. Colorado right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez is likely to get the nod for the National League, while Tampa Bay's David Price is the leading candidate to start for the American League.
Tonight's Home Run Derby at Angel Stadium will feature five first-time participants. For the National League, Corey Hart of the Milwaukee Brewers, Arizona's Chris Young and the Marlins' Hanley Ramirez are in the competition for the first time, while St. Louis' Matt Holliday will be taking part for the second time. The American League first-timers are the Yankees' Nick Swisher and Toronto's Vernon Wells, while Boston's David Ortiz and Detroit's Miguel Cabrera have previously participated.
