House Rep. Hastings: Protection for Pedophiles

April 09 Rep. Alcee Hastings confirmed that all paraphilias should be protected from 'fear.' When he read a list of different paraphilias, pedophilia was included. (See first 10 min. version of "Stop the Pedophile-Protecting Hate Bill!" for his longer speech including the listing of several "-philias.") The Hate Bill would make pedophiles a protected class!

BUT the hate crimes bill still did not cover paraphilias. It doesnt' protect pedophiles.

And you couldnt' commit violence against pedophiles anyway because there are laws against vigilanteism .
