This is for fepixie - I've had to grab stills (very low quality) and compress my 20+ minutes of footage to death, and it was clearer than you could imagine in life, better than real with my old Canon XM2 camera and the sound quality of the original has birds chirping in the background of the farm, this all disappears when I grab 4 megapixel still shots ;( so sadly the quality is now
BAD, I wish you could see the original. This is Murray Gunn's collection, it's the first time I've looked at the tangiwai footage since I shot it, One day I might edit it (there's about 10 hours worth on punamu and interviews with carvers and finders from Greymouth south!) I just need to be on holiday from work for a long time, and reteach myself how to edit with final cut. I hope you enjoy this wee glimpse!
