This is Sorrely being asked to walk backwards. Sorrely is a 24 year old QH retired from roping at 17. You can see his hindquarters are not moving correctly as they are doing high goose steps and he is very resistant on backing. He has been described as having "stringhalt-like" movements in his hindquarters. His condition not been diagnosed yet. His veterinarian is concerned it may be some spinal issue. Has anyone seen this in a horse before? The condition is much more severe in backing up then moving forward or turning. See Sorrely1 video for forward and turning movement.
