Wenn die Sonne so richtig knallt
die Hitze glüht auf dem Asphalt
hab' ich gar keine Lust
mit Arbeit die Zeit zu vergeuden
lieber nehm' ich ein Sonnenbad
über den Dächern der Stadt.
Leg' die Steaks auf den Rost
und ab geht die Post mit uns beiden.

Barfuss durch den Sommer
wie ein Zigeuner leben mit dir.

Wir hau'n uns auf den Balkon
ich nehm' den Hörer vom Telefon
es ist keiner mehr da
weil wir ab heute verreisen.
Wir träumen im Liegestuhl

er soll dein Gehalt überweisen
