In modern day Nigeria, a new turn of events has emerged, in the form of kidnapping innocent members of the populace. Whilst this pattern is deeply regrettable, it is clearly evident that the poor youths of the region, after decades of deprivation have found the ugly practice as a new way of taking a chunk out of what they have, for years surrendered to the benefit of every one in the country.
This epic documentary, courtesy of Aljazeera TV clearly indicate that successive Nigerian Governments, including the current one appear not have awoken to the fact that a genuine desire to sooth the minds of these poor youths of Ogoni, as well as other such communities would and should begin with a task force for reconstruction and creating jobs, rather than the display of power. The courage of the Ogoni youths is heavily admired, despite the unacceptable practice of roguery and kidnappings, by a minority section of the community.
That cop was about to go on a robbing spree.

@emanny1986 No Insult, I apologies. And you are right we should learn our history!

@emanny1986 Futhermore, don't insult me by telling you should lecture me. What do you know about me? My age? Nothing. So, that's disrespect and it feels like you don't practise your culture. I hope you will come to see that matters are not as simplistic as you think they are. We could discuss this topic endlessly. Face to face I could have better formulated and explained my point of view. We should all learn our history.

@emanny1986 haha I believe you have difficulties interpreting my comments correctly. I have never mentioned our leaders being innocent. The corrupt military leaders and so-called presidents should be prosecuted, but they are only marionettes of higher forces that have caused the current situation in Nigeria. And because those leaders are so ignorant, undereducated and greedy, they form perfect pawns. Also, your comment on Dangote lacks all relevancy.

@nosabini I WOULD LECTURE YOU, CAUSE YOU NEED IT. WAKE UP! YOU ARE NIGERIAN, WELL THOSE UNDEREDUCATED FOOLS ARE TOO. YOU DONT NEED EDUCATION TO TELL RIGHT FROM WRONG, THOSE LEADERS ARE NOT INNOCENT BECAUSE THEY WERE BEING DIRECTED BY BACKROOM FORCE BE THEY WHITE OR BLACK. YES WHITE OR BLACK, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK DANGOTE AND M.K.O WERE NOT IN ON IT TOO. WAKE UP MY FRIEND, THE WHITE MAN CANT TAKE BLAME FOR EVERYTHING. WAKE UP.

@emanny1986 Those dumb leader you are talking about are just pathetic tools of manipulative white governments. They are uneducated fools. They are used to make "underground white oppression" a succes, also in Africa. We are independent since 1 oct. 1960, BUT are we really independent? I know the white man very well, and I know Nigeria very well. Learn your history, because these are not shallow matters.
Don't ever try to lecture me about my country or tell me to wise up, my friend.

@emanny1986 I'm not saying that they should not be angry. Read my comment properly. I only mentioned that the journalist is trying to create an image of the Niger Delta, which is not necessarily representative for each and every civilizian. They are angry, offcourse. I support them, but it is not like that area is now in possession of evil minds, which act on their anger.
