I briefly explain what extension tubes are and how they are useful in macro work. An inexpensive way to start macro photography.

  • @MojtabaParsa2000 teleconverters - they're pretty similar, but they've got a few glass elements. You'll lose some light and due to the fact that it has its own glass, quality might be lowered a bit (it will depend on the make). They usually come in 1.4x, 2x and 3x. Kenko has two lines of teleconverters, as well.

  • Thank you. One question: Is there any tool like this to help change the focal length? for example turn a 50mm lens into a 85mm lens?

  • @arhamomar yes, if the extension tubes are EF-S compatible, and only when the lens is zoomed in at 55mm

  • @ianhyk

    i need help

would it work with a 18-55 mm lens? thnx alot, great vid

  • LOL, Nikon's latest extension tube was from the '70s.
