*** EXPAND FOR MORE INFO - IGNORE THE SECTION ON HEAVY ARMOR PERK ****

*** NOTICE: Since the creation of this video, it has been confirmed that the hard cap on Armor Rating is 567. It is possible to exceed that very easily without having to purchase the armor perks. Everything else in this video is still valid.

This first half of this video covers what perk trees you will need to purchase to have the capability to make tradeskill equipment to the fullest potential. The second half of this video shows what you need to create as "Tradeskill Gear" in order to maximize the best possible stats on your tradeskill armor.

This series will cover several aspects of Skyrim's tradeskill system. Armor and weapons will be up soon.

The potions used in this video require two of the following ingredients:

Enchanting: Blue Butterfly Wing, Hagraven Claw, Snowberries, Spriggan Sap

Smithing: Blisterwort, Glowing Mushroom, Sabre Cat Tooth, Spriggan Sap

  • armor cap is 567...

  • @Kancon1 - yep. read the description. this video is old.

  • Does disenchanting stronger gear give you a stronger enchantment? Because I have Muiri's ring and a helmet with a stronger enchantment than the ring.

  • @iHeartCookies93 - no. disenchant the cheap ones to learn the effect and save the better ones for your collection or to resell for more gold.

  • I am wondering if it really does matter if I go for heavy armor instead of light armor for a stealth based character. When I enchant the foot wear with moving silent while having all the stealth perks and level maxed out it shouldn't matter, right?

  • @Leto85 - as long as you purchase the sneak perks, you'll be fine.

  • where did u find the ebony gaunlets of xtreme alchemy at??

  • @OMGaSasquatch - there are no fortify enchanting items, sadly. you have to use fortify alchemy enchants to make fortify enchanting potions, then drink the potions before enchanting.

  • @pms00 where can i find a boost enchanting item, so i can dis-enchant it? i need one in order to do this
