  • Thanks for uploading this! Do you have a date for when you recorded it please?

  • @yaxu The date on the original file is July 2008, which I think must be about right!

  • I just heard about Ted Nelson and have started looking for some of his work, as I find his ideas very intriguing and innovative. What is the source of this video and might there be other similar videos of this format available?

  • @jmlane1987 I recorded this video during Ted's time at the Oxford Internet Institute. There are a few more among my Youtube videos, and try also searching for him on webcast.oii.ox.ac.uk . Hope this helps!

  • TEEEeeeeed NELSON!

  • story was good, but the so called alternative needs to be expanded upon, . .. and how would the alternative improve the way things are?

  • He seems to go from one point to another and at times appears lost.

  • Usually in computer world, if you have an idea, it is the best to implement it your self, otherwise, no one else will do that for you.

And if it works well and it does amazing stuff...then it is the economy and BigName companies that will decide wether it should be widley adopted. Xerox Parc is a great examle of that. ;)

  • @photonhunter Many thanks. I did watch your videos and greatly appreciate you having taken the time to make these recordings available to us on YouTube.
