@CrashIsGeek I prefer Nikon mostly because of it's lovely interface, Whenever someone asks me to shoot with a different or new Canon, I flat out say no, because the interface seems so tangled and weird. Iv'e done it a coule of times and finally end up frustrated and mad, not because they're bad, but because they're not what tou'd call "user freindly". But whenever i get my hands on a different Nikon, I can usualy guide myself through stuff

@CrashIsGeek I agree completely. I really don't understand the Canon/Nikon debate. I just hate when people are arrogant about the choices others make for personal preferences. They are companies, there will always be competition in the marketplace haha

@CrashIsGeek YEA.. its true.. but the price ruins it all:P

I am a proud D90 owner, This lens is a really great one, Its nice when you dont have the time to switch lenses in between shots since it covers both short and telephoto range...
Good quality as well...
My favorite lens though is the Nikkor 50mm Lens, it just seems to capture colors and contrast a lot better. :P

thought you were 16? meh nice video x
What made you decide on a Nikon rather than a Canon? (not trying to troll, just wondering from experience)

@DUDEMANGUY5 To tell you the truth, I haven't used Canons enough to put up a big argument, but I just like Nikons more for some reason. My dad shoots with them so I had a lot more experience with them, personal preference I guess. I also hate the Canon vs. Nikon arguments, I say use what you like and shut up

why did you get a D3100 if the D80 is a much more pro body..?
franfred11 8 months ago
@franfred11 Good question. The D3100 is lighter and more compact, it's 14mp instead of 10, it has 1080p video, live view, and it has a way better censor. Multiple people told me to invest in glass first, then upgrade the body. Also, I hope to upgrade the D80 to the D7000 if I get enough work this summer, which I just didn't have enough money to do right now.

@CrashIsGeek yea, i completely agree.. i have a D80.. And I was going to get a D3100..but i invested in glass.. My next camera will be a D7000 or a D300s...
It was a good purchase;)

@franfred11 Definitely go for the D7000, the D300s is a great camera but it's getting outdated. The D7000 is so amazing, magnesium alloy body, 16.2mp, 6fps, dual SD card slots, 1080p video, fantastic battery, 3 inch lcd, 39 point af, 100% coverage through the viewfinder, the list just keeps going.
