  • @BeautySavesWorld No this was not an "Armenian" dynasty; the only stone this is written on is the stone in your head . They perceived themselves to be a Macedonian/ Persian mix and the deities represented in the statuary are a Persian Hellenic mix they are not "Armenian" gods. The Armenians adopted the gods of the nations ruling in Anatolia when they arrived along with the literary tradition as Armenians were illiterate on their arrival in the 6th century BC. Your imagination is over heating!

  • The Kingdom of Commagene was a small Hellenized Armenian kingdom rulled by Armenain Dynasty.

The Nemrut monuments are Armenian deities. Built by the Armenian king Antiochos I of the Armenian Orontid dynasty. The empire he was ruling over Commagene was a mixed ethnic empire but the dynasty was Armenian, the King was Armenian and he built the pre-Christian deities Aramazd, Anahit, Tir, etc…etc.. it is written in stone!

  • could you tell us what is the music about the video?

  • @ZeeGooner These are stupid comments. You sound like a good Nazi when you speak as if achievements are based on blood; they are not. The driving force is cultural. It was the culture of the Ottoman state that braught all this diverse ethnic elements together to produce something special that reached beyond these narrow racial constraints.

  • @ZeeGooner

By the way, I am PROUD of it that the Turkish culture was always multicultural and multireligious.

I have Armenian and Greek friends if you believe it or not. I even grow up with them, went to school with them etc

And friendships between ppl of different religious and ethnic backgrounds can only happen in tolerance ,openmindness and honesty. So ppl who are the opposite of you!

I pity you, because you are blinde!

  • @ZeeGooner

wow, if you deny the achievements of a whole culture then you must be more filled up with narrow mindness and racism then i thought! I pity you.

And a "protected country" doesnt mean that the culture is the same. Or are all Nato countries american?

All countries from the former warsaw pact russian?Armenia used to be part of the soviet union, so are you russian?

If somebody like you is starting with personal insults , then i must have touched a sensitive spot.

    You are ridiculous

  • @jjx1x are you dumb do you not know what protectorate means he was under the protection of Armenia... meaning a Satrap against Rome!

you bring up a good point... nothing in turkey is turkish... even the greatest architectural achievement were by foreigners the ottomans greatest architects both Armenians and Greeks Atik Sinan Greek.. Sinan Armenian, Balayan's Armenian... the ancient medieval history of "your nation" is all testimony to us.. you have nothing to show.. apart from genocide.

  • @ZeeGooner The statue of liberty was made by a french, so since when is New York a part of france?

The sydney opera house was built by a danish man, but is there any danish flag on it?

Even if he was half armenian, half chinese, half martian or whatever.... The dynasty he belonged to wasnt!

Oh and by the way, the english wikipedia article about Antiochos is kinda messed up. First his mother is "unknown" , then suddenly he is half greek , half armenian.... again, learn to read a BOOK

  • @jjx1x antiochos was half armenian.. and was under the protectorate of Armenia.. you learn to read.

  • I must have missed the Armenian labels when I was there!!!!!!
