Kate Perry, for instance. I'm sorry, but that girl can't sing.

Very, very good indeed, Bluesy perfection. Why wasn't this on the album TBYML?

Her voice on this is just UNGH. *_*

How many CD singles of Send His Love to Me did they release? I have one that does not have this song as a B-side, but rather has two live tracks from Glastonbury. I wonder who was responsible for so much of PJ's best work from this period coming out as B-sides.

@animegunner since this is a somewhat "religious" song i would suspect it Joseph's coat of many colors. but not being religious myself, i only know this from "Joseph & his Technicolor Dreamcoat" broadway show about said mentioned coat. this era did seem to have a lot of religious overtones.

I have a feeling I would appreciate this song MUCH more if I had the slightest idea what "Coat of Colors" was supposed to hint at. \

One of my favorite b-sides :D

@ZZqezza Oh man, I saw her at The Trocadero in Philadelphia that period and it was so good I had to go see her again at The Academy in NYC later. She was fantastic.
I saw her again in '98, again brilliant, but not like this period. I wish I could have seen her one woman show for the White Chalk album. The clips I've seen of that looked just as good.

Just listen to the pasion in Polly's voice in this track. other so-called female singers could learn such a lot from her!!!
I love the way she singed at TBYML era. There's so much passion, emotions...

completely agree:-) I personaly love everything about this era - her image, stage performance, b-sides and the passion that you're talking about. I wish I could see her live that time.
