They are very loyal, almost like dogs. And their tail flicking/wagging is a sign of excitement or pleasure. They can be taught to fetch and be walked with a leash.
They're also very clever. They open doors and other things. They can jump about 8 feet (2.5 meters) high from a standing position, so they can often be found on top of doors, the fridge etc.
