http://www.rei.com/category/4500003 During the day you can stay visible by wearing bright clothing to let people see where you are. Also, signaling with your hands to other cars and cyclists know what you're going to be doing. Riding in a place where cars expect you to be makes the roads a safer place to be. When you're riding at night it's important to wear clothing that's reflective and to have proper lighting so cars can see you.

  • I think it's good how the instructors always wear helmets in these videos, even when they're not on a road and simply giving the great and helpful tips they give. Too many people ride bikes on the road without a helmet. The silly stigma that wearing a helmet isn't 'cool' is just stupid and misses the point, in that bikers don't wear a helmet to try to look 'cool' in the first place

Is it uncool to wear a seat belt in a car?

  • Great clip. Its cool that they went with a pretty high-def version.

  • Hello Dan. What brand of helmet is the biker wearing on the night ride through the city?

    Regards, Greg
