  • I love you Orson Welles!

  • As a person who idolized Orson Welles, I agree. I saw him in a documentary once and nearly started sobbing as he recounted what he had to do merely to exist in his later years. One of the really heartwarming events was his final appearance. When Merv Griffin found out that Welles was in his building during the taping of his old show, he invited Welles to walk on. The audience went wild, giving him a standing ovation. Welles died that night. At least he got some love and adulation that final day.

  • What a grace and charisma! Welles, Bergman and Kubrick were the only true geniuses in cinema.

  • Genius

  • GRANDISSIMO ORSON!!!!!

  • Damn William Randolph Hearst.

Why the fuck did he take Kane so seriously that he ruined this man's future? I wish we could have seen more genius from Orson Welles.

  • Orson Welles, the legend, always and unforgettable CITIZEN KANE!!!

  • @sclogse1 Indeed.

  • @sclogse1 Indeed.

  • What an amazing film maker. Touch of evil was awesome. I wish I had 10 percent of his talent then I would be better than 80 percent of the crap out there today. R.I.P Mr. Welles

  • says it all right here.... talent never appreciated by the Hollywood money men

Touch Of Evil. Originally Welles was hired just to act in this film. When Charlton Heston heard Welles was involved, he thought Welles was directing and jumped at the opportunity. Not wanting to lose Heston, the studio hired Welles to direct - as long as he did it for free (he would be paid for acting). His first step was to completely rewrite the script

  • @spike99lee,Uncle Phil looks more like Suge Knight than Orson Welles.
