@tomasson05 I have the drop on you young man - I've been driving for 45 years (not that that means anything) but I'm already looking at an Auris HSD - Liitle things can turn you off a car!

@Mercman2609 Nice. Im not so good in parking. I got my driving license about 3 months ago and have to wait 3 months. then i am allowed to drive with out my father ;D

@tomasson05 PS - I can park my wife's Micra in a space barely two feet (or 60 cms if you are of that persuasion) longer than the car - not that that has anything to do with the Merc issue!

@tomasson05 I've taken it in to the local Merc dealer and they say they cannot find any error messages and furthermore have upgraded the software - hasn't made any difference! Also when driving (at slow speed) the P for parking displays on the dash and an arrow points to a mythical space - personally I think it is kaput!

You could park a bus in that space (with your eyes closed) - Lets see it park itself in a space about 1 meter longer than the car!
