This is my Strider VB with gunner grips. The knife is made out of S30v steal with G10 gunnergrips, the blade has got Striders typical tiger stripes and the spine has got serrations, great for cutting rope and such. I have been using this one at work for about six months and its a great heavyduty knife that will stand up to almost anything. I have been chopping wood, striking the spine of the blade with a small sledgehammer to pry apart blocks of concrete, putting my whole weight on the knife while prying up metal doors and a whole lot of other things. The sheat in the video is a Eagle industries Airborne sheat but at work i use a custom made kydex sheat attatched to my belt with a Teklok. Feel free to ask questions and comment this clip.

  • I think the serrations are great, because if you use the knife like me the blade wont be super sharp and you will allways have the serrations to back you up when you need to cut yourself loose from à rope or harness . The song in the background is " sultans of swing " by dire straits

  • tip looks super strong. what is the thickness on that bad boy?

  • The tip if very strong indeed and the thickness of this baby is .25 inches or 6.3millimeters. so its a real heavy duty tool.

  • That is a beautiful knife. Do you find anything unpractical about it?

  • No not really, its a Strider so you get what you expect, its not very sharp but if i wanted something with super sharp blade i wouldnt buy i Strider !

  • cool pry bar

  • Wow someone that actually uses there strider for what it's intended for. Bravo my friend bravo!

  • @phear889 Thanks for the reply. I thought about that when making my purchase, but I still went with the WB MOD 10, which is essentially the same thing but without the serration's. I have an SNG as well, so I guess I'll always keep that in the little pouch for back up. Did you notice the buckle doesn't really hold the knife tight at all? The knife still moves freely shaking around, almost falling out.

  • Do you know the name of the song playing in the background?

  • Great knife, I'm stuck between this and the WB mod 10. How do you like the serration's?

  • looks like gi tanto cold steel

  • Yes a sharp knife would be silly huh?

That's why I won't buy another Strider..many knives outperform them

  • Отличный нож, так как у него рукоятка ровная, лезвие толстое, калёное! )
