  • Dear Lord above, this is so beautiful. I really broke down when I saw the poster that said, "This man is your friend." I'm a Yank, and believe me, some of us know that and will always remember and treasure it. (My father served in the Pacific in WWII, Army, and was stationed in Australia and loved it. He even named me Sydney.)

They shall not be forgotten. Thanks so much for this beautiful tribute, Gigolo. Now I need to go find a tissue...

  • @meezergeezer Thanks so much for that comment mate. Perhaps you should visit sometime and see why your Dad was so smitten with the place.

  • hey mate allways good to see your vids long time no speak mate

  • Yeah where you been hiding?

    Almost another ANZAC Day too!

  • Let me preface by saying that I am an American married to an Australian. Now I will follow that by saying that I am a veteran of the US Air Force from Operation Desert Storm. I am living in a country that doesn't seem care much for sacrifices our military makes but I know that military history tells me that ANZAK soldiers played a roll in WW1 and that story also tells me of brave soldiers who faught for what they believed in. May no soldier be forgotten.

  • Well put mate and thanks for your Service.

  • A nation that honors its war dead is a nation that is worthy of them.

ANZACS fought bravely at Gallipoli, which was also a very important landmark for the Turks, who were their opponents in that Battle. Turkish President Kemal Ataturk later eulogized the ANZAC war dead and erected a memorial in their honor.

Greetings from a land far away. :)

  • Grand respect pour nos amis Australiens.

  • God bless you ANZAC`s love from England.......

  • It is nice to know that a 16 year old cares about something that I'm sure most of your friends know little about. I was just in Australia about 3 weeks ago and went to King's Park in Perth WA. All I can say is WOW what a beatiful memorial park that was. Good luck to you.

  • i would like to go to gallipoli one day for ANZAC day but ANZAC day is great in melbourne with the footy match at the MCG aswell
