Subaru Brat [LWB] coming out party

Made this extended cab Brat with two bodies spliced together. Ditched the gwagon body and extended that chassis for this build.

That is very cool! I was thinking of doing the same thing with an un-extended body. What kind of chassis set-up did you use? I am running an x-trail/axial chassis, but was wondering if the body would match-up with the chassis wheelbase

thanks! this was a custom chassis. wheelbase was around 11.5". the stock unextended brat body is closer to 9.5". you could use the xtrail chassis but will have to make your own shock towers as the ones on that chassis are not set up for such a short wheelbase.

I knew it would perform well. The gwagon was always a good performer hindered only by its tall body (high CG) and its shortish wheel base. The subaru body solves both those issues with the lower, smaller body and the longer wheel base. those were the sole reasons I did it.
