@Crafter07 emotionally they are more like cats .. they are timid . like peaceful environments and like to be stroked like a cat. Pigs are food motivated.. i call them my food soldiers. Always on the quest to find goodies.

I really would like one myself but I heard you need to have a vet nearby who is capable of treating them.

@Strymn there is nothing worse then having a sick or injured pig with out vet experience or medical help close by. Can you imagine even if there never sick a day in there lives but when the time comes and they are at end of life and suffering and you have no one experienced who an help them cross over without knowing how to do it.. nightmare for you and your loved one .

@Strymn We lived like this for years here , when ever one got sick i swear it was like falling into a pit of despair floating on a life ring in the middle of the ocean with little chance of being rescued. With our beloved cats and dogs we take it for granted how we can just get them into our vehicle and get to to the vets. Not the case with a pig as it may take 3 of you to even get him in a crate..
