This video shows how you can use an Amp Gizmo by RJM Music to automatically switch channels on an amp when you switch patches on a BOSS® GT-10. This eliminates the need to have your amp's footswitch next to your effects processor. One button press can switch effects and amp channels at the same time!

The amp featured in this video is the Elmwood Modena M90, a great high gain channel switcher made in Sweden.

  • 6:29 what is it that you play there?

  • @disturbtheworlds It''s a little bit of "Blackest Eyes" by Porcupine Tree. HIghly recommended band and song.

  • Just got me GASing hard for a Port City 212.

  • @MarvinMoshaka I have both a regular and oversize 2x12. Both are excellent! My favorite 2x12s for sure.

  • Hello from Brazil!

My tube head uses an 8-button footswitch through a common TRS cable. It features 3 channels, FX loop, mute, reverb, solo function (which is a clean boost of volume) and graphic EQ. They can all be accessed via the footswitch. Will the Amp Gizmo control it + a Line6 M13?

  • The Momentary Switch to turn on/off the effects is nice.

But i recommend not to control the actual on/off type, but the "mix 0% / 100%" Type.

Cause sometimes, turning on effects can make clicks/cracks/pop-noises while playing.

  • @rjmmusic Have you ever played through an Orange PPC 212? If so, how do the two compare?
