@multigenremusician I wonder if you knew how many times this soloist sang this song under Carter and exactly this same way or a way close to it.... he is a former student of Carter and probably has sung this more than any other soloist during Carters time at Morgan....

Kenny KILLS this solo like no other. In my opinion, no other counter tenor can do this song justice. He and Ernie Sanders (R.I.P. Ernie) are counter tenors that are classic and will go down as true musicians.
At 5:20.....I GO IN!!!!! Thank you Lord!!

@Angelothegreatbass So true....this young man is the voice that our generation came to know Carter's "Great is thy Faithfulness". All of runs were done under the baton of Dr. Carter and we're equally loved by him and those listening to the performance. Superb job, Kenny!

ABsolutely Beautiful! I have never heard Ken sing like this. Clean and crisp. I love it!

Is this an actual countertenor...or some guy singing in falsetto.

O...M..G! sooooooo beautifully sung..the best version i ever heard! this guy is AMAAAAAAAAZING! range? goooood God!

it's good. but from my "musician's-point-of-view", there are runs where there shouldnt and its unnecessary. the music itself and its message alone should send people into there "worship zone". and im saying this because Nathan himself told me "dont sing too many runs."

@crewguy02 This recording is from Mississippi Boulevard Chrsitian Church in Memphis Tennessee. Ken comes here regularly to sing this when it is requested for funerals or other events.
