@streetender1878 I didn't disrespect her in ANY WAY, I just said that her dress was "inappropriate" but YOU call me "FUC*** IDIOT" because of my comment!!! And you dare to talk me about RESPECT??? And then you tell me to "grow up"??? Stop talking to me, please.

@sion7111 i dont need to know you to make comments. i respond to your comments. also, i dont need your responses because i dont care about them. i say again, it was the cup final, not a cathedral and god had very little to do with it. you say that, and i quote, "they are free to behave in any way that they prefer and they deserve respect like every other human being in our planet" yet you clearly dont extend the same courtesy to lesley garrett and the way she dressed. so grow up!

@streetender1878 Humm, what can I say to a person like you, who try to insult a woman that you don't know, and that use ad hominen attacks instead of arguments? I owe you no response about my opinions, because the level of your answer is so sadly low. And, no, I'm not an amish, but I don't consider an amish a bad person. They are free to behave in the way that they prefer and they deserve respect like every other human being in our planet.

@sion7111 IT WAS THE CUP FINAL, YOU FUCKING IDIOT, NOT A CATHEDRAL! Im surprised that you have posted, because i didnt know that the amish used computers. I guess some bearded cunt must be peddling like fucking mad to make the electricity for you.

West Ham United contest the first ever FA Cup Final at Wembley. Legendary as the White Horse Final, more than 250,000 Eastenders march arm-in-arm from East London to Wembley, singing the veterans' hymn from the First World War, "Abide With Me". The song is now officially sung at each FA Cup final.
-
how the fuck were they dressed inappropriately? it was the cup final, not a church. go and spout your godbothering shite elsewhere.
-
@ThePearldrop: No, the sin was the fact that the performers dressed inapropriately when singing it. It can't be a sin to spread God's word in song to millions watching.
If you're going to sing a hymn at least dress appropriately. The one on the left looks like she's going to a nightclub.

How times have changed. Go back 50 years and you'd have had 70 000 people roaring that out. Now they look on clueless, wondering what it is all about - perhaps that is just a response to Garrett's awful rendition?
