rock music is built entirely around simple chord progressions. There are countless songs that use the exact same chord prog., its not the music in this case, but the words, and the emotion that is put into them. The simplicity of this song is what is catchy to me, it sounds like he just sat down at a piano and really let go of his feelings, it is very raw and that makes it more emotional for me.

this is such an incredibly generic gospel chord progression; i'm sure there's tons of songs before sabbath that sound just like it, too. if you really wanna hear a ripoff check out coldplay vs kraftwerk!

You damn philistines wouldn't know good music if it bit you in the ass. Dylan has covered The White Stripes. Why don't you go auto-tune your head out of your ass.

It does sound a little bit like Changes, BUT, It also sounds like a ton of slow Gospel songs I used to hear every Sunday.

This kind of blues chord progression has been used in 20000000000 songs. Singling out a Black Sabbath tune is especially hilarious.

It's his song. All you have to do is listen and you know it.

okay, maybe it is a bit like changes, but big deal! jack and meg haven't been busted, so evidently black sabbath don't give a damn, so why should you? grow up, you lot.
