Not only is this originally a gorgeous song, but they instrumentaly slid into "Radio War". It's some pretty good stuff. i have lyrics too.
The show completly blew me away. The instrumentals just went on and on and were incredible all the way through. I was front row so im sure that hepled. And there was this great hippy man on the bongo drums. He probably had at least 10 other random intruments that he couldnt have been more happy playing.
And it was my birthday.
House By The Sea;
There is a house by the sea
Two jealous sisters, they're waiting for me
And one is laid on the floor
And one is changing the locks on the doors
And I've been buying the time on my knees
And I've been selling their blankets to bleed (on)
Around the house by the sea
The scent of roses and raspberry leaves
And there is smoke in my clothes
Too much time with just smoke in my nose
And I've been making the meaning they lack
And I've been burning that book they come back too
There is a house by the sea
And an ocean between it and me
And like the shape of a wave
The jealous sisters will sing on my grave
And I've been living to run where they led
And I've been dying to rise from their bed
And I've been sparing my neck from their chain
And they've been changing the sound of my name
And I've been swimming to them in my sleep
And I've been dreaming our love and our freedom
Radio War;
Did the wine make her dream
Of the far distant spring
Or a bed full of hens
Or the ghost of a friend
All the while that she wept
She had a gun by her bed
And a letter he wrote
From a dry, foundered boat
And the train track will take
All the wounded ones home
And Ill be alone
Fare thee well Sara Jones
Now we lie on the floor
While the radio war
Finds its way through the air
Of the dead market square
And the beast never seen
Licks its red talons clean
Sara curses the cold
"No more snow, no more snow, no more snow"
no. the concert was actually in providence rhode island. but the show was amazing, im glad you like the video, im just glad i was given the opportunity to take it haha.
they also had some incredible instrumental for the boy with a coin. it had kind of a reggae undertone. i couldnt get a video of that song though. they just kinda slide right into the song.
