@thisismysweetside2 (cont'd from below) because of course it is difficult to get a representative view from such a small group. Even so, the interviews we did receive really correlated with a lot of the themes in the book we read, so it would be interesting to expand the pool of students interviewed to gain more insights! I would love to expand this project to include some of the elements you suggested.

@thisismysweetside2 Thank you very much for your comments! I am glad you enjoyed the documentary, and I really appreciate the feedback. Time definitely was an issue; we didn't realize that YouTube videos have to be less than 15 minutes, so we had to cut 6 minutes from our video in order to post it. (That is also why some of the editing is so choppy, since it was very last-minute.) I will take the sentence speed into consideration--good to know! I also would have loved to have more student voices

Dear Julia, I enjoyed the documentary. Some of the white sentences on black background flashed on the screen too quickly. I would have liked to have heard more variety of students. I'm sure that time was of the essence, though; you probably had a limit on how long it could be. I liked how candid the students were- it was an honest interview process. This project is important because not many students take much initiative during High School OR college; it's almost as though it doesn't occur to
