St. John's is definitely not a modern city. And with the traffic these days you'll never make it home in 15 minutes. There are less than a half a dozen cafes operational at most times. Yes, St. John's is a nice place, but it lacks the major amenities of a large city like Toronto or Kuala Lumpur. This video is somewhat misleading. The best part about SJ is the people. And with the oil boom happening that too is changing.

Man, mun is a sweet school. I'm in halifax to doing a program at Saint Marys and i'm doing 2 courses at DAL. And I miss MUN! It has some amazing facilities, amazing professors. You definitely can't beat it for the price if you're looking for a good education on the east coast.
