Epic tribute to late Dimebag Darrell (Pantera) from a Finnish metal band Kiuas with guest guitarist Mr. Crab. Bleeding Strings was released on the band's second album Reformation (2006) after the debut Spirit of Ukko (2005). Since they've gone to release another solid album The New Dark Age (2008) that was just released in UK and will be released in US come August. In September 2008 Kiuas will be touring with Firewind around UK (covering for example Glasgow and Peterborough). Check more from www.kiuas.net

The reigning king, high priest of the sonic fire
Baptizing the world with a roaring flame
Lord of the strings,
Born to sweep the world like a fifth wind,
Now gone, but echoing beyond forever

Burning with passion and with grace,
Every night you set the world ablaze
Millions who walked with you through the days
Forever will revere your name
Electric fire from your hands
Burned still on the night your last stand
Breathing life into the world

On the last stage lies a hero with a heart of gold,
Now a fallen warrior with wounds too deep to endure the cold
Your strings still weep as you're taken away too soon,
As you bleed on the strings now the strings bleed with you

With pride he dedicated his life
To keeping the spirit and the flame alive,
Preserving the craft with the power to light millions of hearts
Leaving behind a legacy -
Countless secrets of an art like sorcery,
Now the strings of your followers sing in your honor

Burning with passion and with grace,
Every night you set the world ablaze
Millions who walked with you through the days
Forever will revere your name
Electric fire from your hands
Burned still on the night your last stand
Breathing life into the world

On the last stage lies a hero with a heart of gold,
Now a fallen warrior with wounds too deep to endure the cold
Your strings still weep as you're taken away too soon,
As you bleed on the strings now the strings bleed with you

[Solo]

On the last stage lies a hero with a heart of gold,
Now a fallen warrior with wounds too deep to endure the cold
Your strings still weep as you're taken away too soon,
As you bleed on the strings now the strings bleed with you

On the last stage lies a hero with a heart of gold,
Now a fallen warrior with wounds too deep to endure the cold
Your strings still weep as you're taken away too soon,
As you bleed on the strings now the strings bleed with you

  • R.I.P. Dimebag

The world is much more a grim place without you :(

  • pure epicness, hail dimebag, hail kiuas !

  • sorry for forgetting brides of destruction and brian welch's tributes. they had hell of ballz too.

Emotional Tributes: In This River, Letter To Dimebag, Pity For A Dime

Offensive & Praising Tributes: Aesthetics Of Hate, Bleeding Strings, Dimes In Heaven

  • this is one of four best tributes alongside "In This River" by Black Label Society, "Aesthetics Of Hate" by Machine Head and "Pity For A Dime" by Creed. The rest are garbage...

  • FINALLY! A metal band with real power and emotion. I'm tired of all the pig squealing, breakdown nutjobs, wearing their little sisters pants, focusing more time on their image than their music. Bring on dynamic, musical metal! I love power metal & stuff like this. Makes me glad to know that real musicians are still out there. Stop tuning your guitars down to DROP Q! It sounds like a gootch being wiped with steel whool then thrown into a blender. Damn! HAHA, Anyway... KIUAS! Hell yeah! RIP DIME

  • Great voice!!

  • Poster should put Dimebag darell in title , This song deserves more hits and so do Kiuas, This band is awesome and I love this song its amasing

  • @Spuge12345 fuck dime?.. you are such an idiot!. kinda hard to get fucked in hell when hes kicking it above.. and if you dont like him why are you commenting about him? on a song thats dedicated to him?... because he was and still is one of the best guitarists that have lived... hates a stong emotion that people hide behind when they're jealous because they cant nearly do as much..
