VERY INFORMATIONAL AND INFORMATIVE (HELPFUL); especially from a young man your age. Very impressive! Good work!

Please please please be careful about listening to this. He is very young and while he may know something about edible plants he is too inexperienced in life to tell you the dangers. In this video he should have warned all of you about the dangwers of the water hemlock that grows intertwined with watercress. One leaf of water hemlock mixed into your watercress and you are dead. Do not eat watercress until you are an expert at identifying water hemlock.

@MECCTX Yes. it can be found in the produce section, canned as a cooked green, or in vegetable drink such as V8 (Medve 57)

Your video is excellent.
I have read, though, that we must'nt gather watercress where there are watersnails and cows, as the snails can transmit liver fluke to humans--if cows have been defecating in the water. I suppose the snails' eggs would be stuck on the leaves. The liver fluke has some sorta life cycle involving watersnails and cattle and humans can catch it, apparently. But I don't pretend to be an expert. I don't know how the watercress we get in the supermarket is grown snail free.

you are very correct. always make sure the water is clear and not stagnant. It is also recommended you cook watercress, although that takes away many vitamins, it is better than getting sick.
