I feel wrong about liking the video, because the implication is that I may like the subject/content and I certainly do not like that it was flooded.

wow i havent seen this yet.. the levee that broke in riverview was literally right behind my house. thank god we were on top of the hill there or we would have been fucked. i was born in the flood of 93, im really glad that we didnt lose water or anything like that durin this flood. i was extremely suprised to kno this was a 500 hundred year flood and the one in 93 was only a 100 year flood.

Wow, I grew up in Des Moines in the 40s and 50s and didn't even know about the flooding until this guy moving into the apt. (I'm now in Sacramento) opposite me said his dad was in Des Moines, working on the flooding problem. So checking it out here now; terrific video, and I appreciate the captions, too. Wow. Used to flood in spring, but I'd never seen it like this!

Its amazing how Des Moines, Iowa isn't even a coastal city and its flooded like this! How many residents have had to flee and where are they staying?
