I completely agree, you were saying you needed to win quick and the extra three could make a giant difference. Complete misplay, theirs no real reason not to.

The turn Abbey asks why you didn't equip the dagger and Scott replies "We don't know what we're going to use our mana for." (turn 7) you are wholly wrong. Nothing in your deck costs more than 3 mana and you know you're going to be drawing an island, giving you 3 mana even if you play and equip the dagger.

Usually I think Abbey is useless, but once a millennium she catches Scott's misplays.
