Celtic Thunder - a brand-new show created and produced by Sharon Browne, made its debut in the U.S. with a public television special airing on local stations nationwide in March 2008. Filmed in the Helix in Dublin, the show features five male vocalists (Damian McGinty, Keith Harkin, Ryan Kelly, Paul Byrom, and George Donaldson) performing an eclectic mix of songs, ranging from the traditional "Mountains of Mourne" and "Come By the Hills" to international hits such as "Brothers in Arms" and "Desperado," as well as original compositions by Celtic Thunder's musical director and composer Phil Coulter and one track Lauren & I penned by Keith himself. The ensemble songs reflect the power of the soloists, who range in age from 14 to 40 and share a common Celtic heritage. Meet the men of Celtic Thunder

This song ALWAYS makes me tear up when it hits "We were fools to make war with our brothers in arms." Far more years ago than a lady should be asked to reveal, I had a school project on "What one thing would you change in history to make a massively different outcome in today's world." Mine was that if Irish, Scots and Welsh had all learned to live peaceably together, they would never have been infiltrated. As it was, they were a house divided. Such a profound song, and so beautifully done.
